We take your privacy seriously. We do not collect personal information about you. Anything we do collect is used only to improve DayAssist — never sold, never shared with third parties, never used for advertising.
DayAssist is an AI agent that runs on your machine. It connects to AI providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and OpenRouter) using your subscription or API key, and to optional services like Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive with your authorization.
Prompts and responses are processed by your chosen AI provider, governed by their privacy policy. DayAssist may retain conversation data to improve the product. This data is not associated with personal identity, and we never sell or share it.
When you connect a service like Gmail or Google Calendar, OAuth tokens are stored locally on your device in ~/.open-core/. Our authentication server facilitates the handshake only — it does not store tokens, read your data, or retain anything after the connection completes.
Anything we collect — conversation data, crash reports, feature usage — is used solely to improve DayAssist. It is not tied to your identity and is never sold, shared, or used for advertising. You can opt out at any time in settings.
Your use of AI providers and connected services (OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, Google APIs, and others) is governed by their respective privacy policies.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in the app.
